The Learning Center at Howell Woods contains a natural resource reference
library with over 200 books in the collection that are available for you to use at the Center. You can find information on birds, fish,
and aquatics; insects and spiders; mammals; plants; mosses and fungi; reptile
and amphibians; wildlife and forestry management; ecosystems; astronomy; organic
gardening; outdoor skills and recreation; green philosophy;

The library also contains numerous professional natural
resources and ornithological journals as well as many magazines covering natural
