Howell Woods offers regularly scheduled programs that are advertised in our quarterly newsletter, The Owl Call, which are site specific. We welcome specially requested programming and invite you to look at the following listings for topic ideas.
Don’t see a program that meets your needs? Please contact us to discuss the possibility of designing a program for your group to address a specific topic. To provide the best programming possible, we must limit programs that cover wildlife, conservation or environmental issues relevant to Eastern North Carolina and topics that the staff has the proper level of knowledge.
Are There Charges?
Some programs maybe offered as continuing education courses through the College and applicable fees/charges will apply. Other programs will have a small fee based on the length of the program. These fees are used to help fund various activities at the Learning Center. Johnston County Public Schools are not charged for school-sponsored field trips when conducted during normal business hours.
