Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-Basic)
Emergency Medical Technician is offered two times per year. Classes begin every January and August. The class meets every Tuesday and Thursday night, with some Saturdays.
This course meets requirements for the NCOEMS and National Registry standards. Upon successful completion of the class, the student is eligible to sit for the NC EMT Basic examination.
24 hours of clinical is required.
Time: T-Th (some Sat. classes) 7:00pm-10:00pm

Emergency Medical Technician- Intermediate (EMT-I)
Next class TBA. This course meets requirements for the NCOEMS. Upon successful completion of the class, the student is eligible to sit for the NCEMT-Intermediate examination. 48 clinical hours must be completed for this class.

Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P)
Orientation: TBA
Course Information: This year- long EMT Basic to Paramedic Program is offered on a shift friendly schedule.
One class per week: Monday or Thursday; 8:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
- Average of one clinical shift per week with flexible scheduling
- 11 weekend classes
- PHTLS, ACLS, PALS, PEPP, AMLS, NIMS certifications included
- EMS 3000 Anatomy and Physiology offered on-line as a co-requisite
- Graduation is December 14, 2012.
Requirements:North Carolina EMT Basic or Intermediate, High School Diploma or GED

Registration is $175 for each division, 2 divisions. Students are fee-exempt with a NC Fire/Police/EMS affiliation letter on organization letterhead. Register at orientation.
