Commercial Driver's License CoursesThis 12-hour course is a preparation class for individuals wanting to take the written tests required to obtain a CDL Class A or B learner’s permit. The class includes instruction and review of General Knowledge, Air Brakes, and Combination Vehicle sections of the North Carolina Commercial Driver’s Manual. Participant must be at least 18 years old, be able to read, write, and speak English at a level well enough to benefit from the course, and provide proof of identity as required by Section 1.4 of the Driver’s Manual. Participant must bring current copy of the Driver’s Manual (available from DMV office) to class. Important Dates and DeadlinesAugust 09, 2010 through August 10, 2010 - On-Campus Advising and Registration (Fall 2010) August 12, 2010 - Graduation - Certificate, GED, & Adult High School August 13, 2010 - Last Day for Withdrawal with 100% Refund (Fall 2010) August 16, 2010 - Fall Semester Classes Begin August 17, 2010 - Last Day for Adding Fall Courses (Registered students only)
