Culinary Arts Program
JCC is partnering with Johnston County Industries, Johnston Health, and Capital Area Workforce to offer this Culinary Training program.
This 12-week program provides dislocated workers the opportunity to pursue a career in the food service industry (the 5th largest job growth industry in Johnston County).
Upon completion of this course, students will receive the ServSafe certification a nationally recognized certification in food handling. Note: To be eligible for this program, students must meet dislocated worker eligibility.

Upcoming Courses
Edible Art (6 Hrs)
Students will learn how to make multiple edible garnishes including red onion chrysanthemums, apple swans, and tomato roses with cucumber leaves. The second night of class, students will learn how to pick and carve a watermelon using stencils.
