American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Forty ARRT staff members, six of whom are Registered Technologists, are employed at ARRT headquarters in St. Paul, Minnesota. Staff handles approximately 4,000 calls per week received from technologists, examination applicants, employers, and government officials. The ARRTs telephone number is 651-687-0048. Telephone hours are 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. central time. Departmental meetings are regularly scheduled on Thursday afternoons at 3:30 p.m.; therefore, staff are not available after that time. An automated telephone system will direct you to the desired department.

The International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine is a nonprofit professional association devoted to furthering the development and application of magnetic resonance techniques in medicine and biology. The purpose of the Radiological Society of North America is to promote and develop the highest standards of radiology and related sciences through education and research. The Section for Magnetic Resonance Technologists (SMRT) was founded to provide a forum for education, information, and research in the field of magnetic resonance.
