Conversational Spanish for Business
Learn to communicate with the growing Hispanic population. This minimal grammar class concentrates on conversational techniques and basic word phrases. Emphasis will be placed on pronunciation and oral exercises.
Textbooks should be purchased from the JCC bookstore prior to the first class. A minimum of 8 or a maximum of 15 students will be accepted. (Prepaid registration is required)

Spanish for Healthcare
Learn to communicate with the growing Hispanic population. This class concentrates on conversational techniques and basic word phrases intended for the healthcare environment. Emphasis will be placed on pronunciation and oral exercises. Participants will learn and practice basic greetings, general administration questions, requests, and responses, how to obtain patient information, and vocabulary for laboratory examinations and procedures. The participants will practice their new skills with partners, in small cooperative groups, and as a class. (Prepaid Registration is required.)

Spanish for Teachers II
This class is a continuation of Spanish for Teachers I. The selection of Spanish vocabulary and expressions focused on, will enhance communication between teachers, parents, and students. Participants will learn and practice basic greetings, introductions, classroom vocabulary, feelings and descriptive vocabulary, and “survival” vocabulary for parent conferences. The participants will practice their new skills with partners, in small cooperative groups, and as a class. Spanish for Teachers I is the pre-requisite for this class.
