This course teaches the basic functions and features of Excel 2007. Students will learn how to enter and edit data, labels, and formulas, work with functions, format cells, print worksheets, and create charts. This course would be a excellent refresher course for anyone who needs to brush up their Excel skills.

MS Word will teach how to add, move through, and edit text, move words from one part of your document to another, work on two or more documents simultaneously, change margins and tab settings, change the size and appearance of text, center, right align, justify, and indent text; run the integrated grammar and spelling checker; use the thesaurus, and save, retrieve, copy, organize, and print your documents.

Making the Internet work for you (18 hrs)
This course will cover the basics of the Internet and email. Students will review the Fundamentals of Word and PowerPoint sufficient to use and store internet content. Handling of picture, video, and music files will be covered.

MS Office Mini Course (24 hrs)
This 24-hour course is divided into 8 sections, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. The course will be 4 days in length .The first 4 sections will cover MS Word, the remaining 4 sections will be split between MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. The word processing course is designed to give students hands-on training with Microsoft Word. Students will achieve the understanding of how to manage documents with specific time savers such as deletions, moving, and cutting and pasting, how to set margins and tabs, create envelopes and labels from tables, and more. The MS Excel course is a basic introduction to spreadsheets, how to set up a spreadsheet, create basic formulas, editing, and printing. The PowerPoint course is a basic introduction to presentation software. Students will learn about the presentation environment, how to create individual slides, slideshows and insert graphics.

Photoshop Elements (24 hrs)
Learn to edit and correct digital images or old photographs by learning to repair deficiencies and bring out the best in photo editing. Using the Photoshop Elements 6.0 software, learn how to crop, edit, resize, and adjust color and contrast, cloning to remove unwanted items, printing and emailing photos and more. Prerequisites include basic computer skills.

QuickBooks Pro 2008 (18 hrs)
This course is for business owners who want to convert to QuickBooks and for those seeking part time employment operating the system for others. It covers how to establish a company, set up a chart of accounts, and decide what information is to be managed by the software.
Data lists such as customers, vendors, items to sell, etc., will be discussed, set up, and modified. Day to day input items, such as invoicing, paying bills, and managing cash flow are covered. Finally, payroll, time tracking and customizing forms are also included.
