Course Schedules
A variety of continuing education (non-credit) courses are offered at Cleveland Center.
- Courses are open to anyone 18 years old or older. Senior citizens pay no registration fee for occupational extension courses such as computer or accounting courses.
- All students pay full registration fee for community service courses such as art or floral design.
Paying for Courses Held at the Cleveland Center
Continuing education students must pre-pay in order to consider themselves officially enrolled in a course. Students attending the Cleveland Center may prepay registration fees in one of the following methods:
- Call the Cleveland Center at 919-989-2128 for times available to register.
- Complete the Continuing Education Registration Form and mail to the Continuing Education Division along with appropriate registration fee(s).
Students registering by mail for Continuing Education courses at the Cleveland Center should remit ONLY the registration fee. Mail completed registration with check made out to Johnston Community to the post office box at the top of the continuing education registration form.
Textbooks
Prior to the first class, textbooks may be purchased at the Bookstore on the main campus in Smithfield.
