Career and Transfer Services
Counselors are available to help students assess their abilities, skills, interests, values, personalities, and personal goals to make educational and career decisions. A variety of assessment tools and occupational information may be used to assist students. The JobLink Career Center will help students with career planning, training, and placement services.
Counselors are also able to assist students in the college transfer process. Pursuing a bachelor’s degree involves meeting transfer requirements, submitting an application and transcripts, and researching potential programs of study at the four-year college or university.
Career & Transfer Resource Center
Students who desire additional career information, including career assessment, exploration, and occupational information and students interested in transferring to a four-year college or university should visit the Career and Transfer Resource Center (CTRC). College catalogs and additional information, such as course transfer equivalencies and college brochures, are located in the CTRC. Additional career and transfer information can also be found on the bulletin board outside of the center.
Counselors are available to assist students during CTRC hours, or by appointment. Computers are available to complete career assessments, online applications, and to research four-year institutions. For additional information, contact 919-209-2128.
The CTRC is located in the Wilson Building, Room C1034 (across from Student Services).
