Employability Skills Training

Human Resources Development (HRD) provides skills assessment services, employability skills training, and career development activities for adults who are unemployed or underemployed.  Tuition and fee may be waived (free) for individuals who meet the following criteria:

• unemployed;
• received notice of pending layoff;
• working and eligible for Federal Earned Income Tax Credit (FEIT); or
• working and earn wages at or below two hundred percent (200%) of the federal poverty guidelines.

Pre-Teller Certification (30 Hours)

Pre-Teller Certification is designed to assist individuals who would like to enter the banking industry.This class provides entry-level skill awareness and development, computer skills training, baking terminology, customer service skills, career exploration, employment document creation and strategies for job seeking and retention.
