Moore Garners Top JCC Staff Award

The Johnston Community College Staff Association selected Angela Moore to receive the 2004 Annual Outstanding Staff Award. Moore, shown on right in photo with JCC Staff Association President Lannetta Lockhart, has been employed with the College for 5 years and is the senior information technology technician in the Network Services Division. "What an honor it is to be chosen as the Outstanding Staff Winner for the year," states Moore. "In the 5 years that I have been at JCC I have truly been blessed to work with the most caring and upbeat people I have ever known. I am very proud to be a part of the JCC family."

The Outstanding Staff Award is given to a staff person who is voted for by their peers. The Outstanding Staff Award is voted on during each of the four quarters. At the end of the year, an Annual Outstanding Staff Award is selected from the quarterly winners.

Moore is currently pursuing a bachelor’s in information technology at East Carolina University. At JCC, Moore serves on the Staff Association Social Committee and the Disabilities Enrollment Committee.  In her spare time, she enjoys playing volleyball and planning special events.
