Friends of the Late W. Carroll Stephenson Creating Endowment In His Memory

Friends of the late W. Carroll Stephenson are creating a named endowment through the Johnston Community College Foundation, Inc. Funds generated from the endowment will provide scholarships for selected students in the community who attend JCC.

Stephenson was a local prominent businessman who died in a plane crash July 30, 2000. Widely known for his support of philanthropic causes, through time and money donated to local charities and organizations, his life and death left a significant impact on the community. 

Anyone wishing to donate to the W. Carroll Stephenson Endowment should send checks to:  Johnston Community College Foundation, Inc., Post Office Box 2350, Smithfield, NC 27577-2350. Make checks payable to the Johnston Community College Foundation, Inc. designating your tax-deductible gift to the W. Carroll Stephenson Endowment.
