George Moore Successfully Completes Private Protective Services Firearms Instructor Course October 31, 2002
Twenty-three people enrolled in the Private Protective Services Firearms Instructor Course, with only eleven people graduating. Of the eleven graduates, only four qualified with the revolver (day & night qualifying), semi-auto pistol (day and night qualifying) and shotgun. Moore was one of the four to successfully qualify in all areas. The Basic Law Enforcement Training curriculum offered at JCC is a program of 646 hours of instruction designed to meet the mandated basic training requirements of the North Carolina Criminal Justice Training and Standards Commission and the North Carolina Sheriff’s Commission. Upon successful completion of the Basic Law Enforcement Training Program, students are awarded a certificate and are eligible to take the comprehensive written examination of the Commission and become law enforcement officers or sheriff’s deputies. For more information about the BLET program, contact George Moore at 209-2046. |
