Massey Named Outstanding JCC Staff Member
January 14, 2002 Clarissa Massey was named Outstanding Staff Member of the Year by the Johnston Community College Staff Association during the college’s annual December holiday luncheon. Massey has worked in the JCC maintenance and housekeeping department for nearly seven years. In nominating her for the award, one colleague said, “Clarissa epitomizes the spirit of team effort. She is always willing to lend a hand as she makes very productive use of her time. She does an outstanding job, shows the highest professionalism in her interactions with colleagues, and is a pleasure to work with.” Massey received an engraved plaque, a reserved campus parking space for 2002, a gift certificate from White Swan, and a planner from the Institutional Advancement Office. She also will receive two individual season tickets to college-sponsored shows. Massey also was the recipient of the association’s quarterly Outstanding Staff Award for the fourth quarter of 2001. |
