JCC Announces Literary Competition Winners

Tameca Ingram and Richard Moore are this year's winners of the Cynthia DeFord Adams Literary Competition.  The competition, began by Ms. Adams, a Four Oaks poet, is held annually and its purpose is to encourage writing among the JCC student body.  Open to full and part-time students, the competition awards prizes in two categories, poetry and prose.

Ingram, an Associate in Arts major, won first in poetry and second in prose.  Her goal is to pursue a degree in sociology.

Moore won first place in prose and second in poetry.  He is a student in the Associate of Fine Arts (Music) program.
