Jabali Afrika Entertains JCC Students
February 15, 2002 Jabali Afrika, international music and dance troupe, performed for students at Johnston Community College Feb. 13. The group performs its original compositions and traditional African rhythms on a variety of instruments accompanied by vocal harmonies form the foundation of modern rock, jazz and blues. Dancing and African tribal costumes topped off the performance, which was sponsored by the Student Government Association. |
