Five JCC Staff Members Honored as Champions for Children April 18, 2002
The JCC employees were recognized during the first-ever Breakfast of Champions, held on campus in the Paul A. Johnston Auditorium Lobby. The breakfast was cosponsored by JCC Early Childhood Department and the Johnston County Partnership for Children. The five JCC champions are: Nicky Cox of Four Oaks, coordinator of the JCC Early Childhood Program; Priscilla Prevette of Clayton, early childhood instructor and faculty coordinator of the Smart Start Training Center; Erin Speer Smith of Clayton, administrator for the Smart Start Training Center of JCC Preschool and early childhood instructor; Andrea Zipf of Smithfield, Smart Start Training Center at JCC Preschool teacher; and Lisa Ormond of Pine Level, Smart Start Training Center at JCC Preschool teacher. The Breakfast of Champions recognizes individuals in the county who are instrumental in improving the lives of young children and their families. Forty-seven individuals were honored during the breakfast. |
