Students Complete Basic Law Enforcement Training Program at Johnston Community College May 8, 2002 Eleven students graduated Thursday, May 2, from the Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) program at Johnston Community College. The graduates are Matthew Arrington, Nashville, N.C., class valedictorian; Jason Barnes, Smithfield; Gary Crumpler, Kenly; Phillip Johnson Jr., Clayton, who was recognized for the highest firearms score; Janet Kerr, Smithfield, who was recognized for best overall physical fitness; Claudis Langston, Middlesex; Larry Massengill, Smithfield; Harold Mitchell, Selma; Michael Smith, Benson; Dexter Soward, Smithfield; and Branden Torrence, Garner. |
