Graduates Challenged to be "Bold" in Pursuit of Future

Dr. Cassandra Atkinson challenged the Adult High School, GED, and certificate program graduates to be "bold" in pursuing their future at the July 25 graduation ceremony held in the Paul A. Johnston Auditorium.  Dr. Atkinson, a managing partner for accountability services at the Office of State Personnel in Raleigh, spoke to the students of the importance of continuing their education.  She is the daughter of Milford and Adoris Pierce of Clayton.

Thirty-seven graduated from the Adult High School program while 24 received their GED and 25 received certificates in specific curriculum programs.
