JCC Students Nominated for All-USA Academic Team

Two students were recently nominated to represent Johnston Community College in the 2002 All-USA Academic Team competition sponsored by USA Today, Phi Theta Kappa and the American Association of Community Colleges.

Martha Wilson of Wilson's Mills and April Nolan of Garner each received a certificate of recognition April 30 from JCC President Don Reichard.

Students are nominated for the All-USA Academic Team based on their outstanding grade point averages; participation in honors programs; awards, honors and recognition for academic achievement and service to the college and the community.

Wilson is currently in the college transfer program at JCC. Nolan is studying advertising and graphic design.
