Britt Building
Named for the late William R. (Billy) Britt, a Smithfield attorney and longtime member of the College’s Board of Trustees and member of the North Carolina Legislature, the Britt Building opened in the fall of 2004.
The 28,000-square-foot facility houses several applied and industrial technology programs including Machining Technology, Welding Technology, and Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Technology as well as residential construction classes. The building also includes faculty offices and a welding lab and machine shop for student use.
The Britt Building (H) is located near the southern portion of the campus, south of the Smith Building and nestled next to the Transport Technology Building. Parking is available off College Road in Lot 3.
