2013 Johnston Community College Bond ReferendumJohnston Community College thanks Johnston County voters for their support of a $7 million bond referendum on November 5, 2013.
The college will use the bond money to:
- Evaluate and update the Facilities Master Plan
- Renovate classrooms
- Enhance parking and other upgrades
“Johnston County voters maintained their history of strong support for school bond referendums by voting yes for JCC and JCS at the polls,” Johnson said. “These bonds will help us start addressing our facility upgrades, and we are so grateful for all the volunteers who helped us promote our needs and the voters who recognized the importance of 21st century learning environments for our public schools and our community college.”
