Adult Basic Education
The goal of Adult Basic Education is to provide educational opportunities for those who have not completed high school and who function at less than the eighth grade level.
The program provides instruction in the basic skills areas of:
- reading
- writing
- math
- computing
- money managing
- problem-solving
This program is designed to prepare students for entry into either the Adult High School program or the GED Preparation program. Adult Basic Education is available at no charge to adults 18 years of age or older. Students age 16 and 17 may be enrolled under special circumstances.
Placement testing is required for entry into the Adult Basic Education program.
