Academic Programs

Several regional and collaborative programs with four-year institutions are also offered:

• The Pre-Engineering Program, offered by JCC in partnership with NC State University, allows for the first two years of engineering course work to be completed at JCC before applying for transfer to NCSU to complete an engineering degree.
• East Carolina University offers bachelor degree programs in elementary education and special education through the Partnership East South Central Consortium.
• East Carolina University offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology for graduates of the JCC Bioprocess Technology program.
• Mount Olive College offers the baccalaureate in Management/Organizational Development and will offer the baccalaureate in Health Care Management (May 2007) on the JCC campus to graduates of various associate degree programs.
• Courses at the undergraduate and graduate level are offered at JCC by East Carolina University, Barton College, Campbell University, and NC Central University through the NC Model Teacher Education Consortium.
• NC State University offers graduate level courses on the JCC campus.
