The GED Preparation program allows a student to earn a high school equivalency diploma through completion of the Official GED Test. The GED consists of five parts including:
A student must enter a GED preparation class and complete a series of practice tests to determine readiness for the GED. Students are eligible to take the Official GED Test once they earn specific minimum scores in each of the five sections of the practice test. These classes are open to adults age 18 or older.
Placement testing with a minimum 9th grade level is required for entry into the GED Preparation program.
