Non self-supporting courses are free to senior citizens aged 65 or older. There are no fee exemptions allowed for self-supporting courses. The registration fee must be paid by all class participants. Registration fees vary depending upon cost of the course and minimum enrollment of students. No refunds are permitted for withdrawal from self-supporting courses unless the course is canceled by the College. Self-supporting courses are noted by (SS) beside the class title. For senior computer classes, all students must pay the technology fee regardless of age.

Written directions and some maps are available for JCC locations.

Registration Information

Learn to communicate with the growing Hispanic population. This minimal grammar class concentrates on conversational techniques and basic word phrases. Emphasis will be placed on pronunciation and oral exercises.

Textbooks should be purchased from the JCC bookstore prior to the first class. A minimum of 8 or a maximum of 15 students will be accepted. (Prepaid registration is required)

Conversational Spanish (SS*)

This class is designed for those that want to learn the Spanish language. We will learn how to read, write, and speak the language. Come join this class for fun and a new adventure. (Prepaid registration is required).

Introduction to Sign Language (SS*)

Introduction to Sign Language; basic signs and structure of communication between hearing and non-hearing/hearing impaired. (Prepaid registration is required).
